MOU between two Korean SW leading companies

Two competitive market leaders in Korean IT industry will go hand in hand. The cooperation draws high attention in the market because both of them are rank first in their industry and this kind of cooperation is unusual among Korean solution vendors.
The purpose of MOU between the APM solution market leader, JenniferSoft (www.jennifersoft.com) and Korean largest main memory provider in DBMS, Altibase(www.altibase.com) is to establish a cooperative working in R&D, sales and marketing department.

According to the contract, JenniferSoft will use Altibase DB as a Jennifer Server’s database to provide optimized performance service when user wants to process large capacity of data. On the other hand, Altibase will apply JENNIFER in its performance monitoring and controlling part. Their cooperation is expected to trigger significant synergy effect in expending sales and developing new consumers in banking and public market.
JenniferSoft has used open source database, Apache Derby in saving its performance data while it provides numerous enterprise application programs by optimizing customer needs. If user expects much higher and speedy performance management in banking and public market, JenniferSoft plans to provide Altibase DB because Altibase DB is already verified in these markets.
Two vendors are competing with foreign SW companies.They confirmed they will establish close cooperation in marketing and other business activities. They already achieved advanced technology and numerous references in Korean SW market. This MOU will also make up both companies weak points in certain market and create win-win business.
Mr. Lee and Kim said that “Under the mutual business cooperation, we will expand market share targeting for the existing and new customers of both companies.” and “we expect our business alliance will create positive and substantial results in the global market not in just Korean market.”
They emphasize this MOU is not just marketing event but real partnership. JenniferSoft and Altibase promised to share their technologies and valuable knowledge through seminar and develop marketing plans together.
