Jennifer Server uses 3-letter aliases to differentiate each of the Jennifer Agents

• example : Jennifer Agent configuration file(w11.conf)
  _This name is used to identify Jenifer Agent installed on each WAS. Using this name, Jennifer server
  _identifies the WAS server and the name must be 3 letters long
  _Using both the WAS identification number and and machine number is recommended.(example: W11, W12, W13, W21,W22)
  

agent_name = W11

using alias can releive the inconveneince often experience by the adminitrator from having to have to deal with many long WAS names.

• However, this option is only used for display name for Agent on the dashboard and is not related to history data in any ways.
  Please remember that Agent alias must be 3-letters long.*
